Ron Karr's 66 Coronet

I purchased the car on Ebay last June out of San Antonio and was expecting to drive last summer but I ran into a few mechanical concerns. It is an original Texas 318 automatic with air car, I have the Certicard to confirm this. I was told it has had several transplants over the years, the last motor a modified 440 was pulled prior to auction for a Road Runner ragtop the seller had purchased. The car had a freshly rebuilt 318 installed which I figured would do the trick for local cruising. Well a poor rebuild (coolant in the oil), a short but pleasant claim thru Ebay Motors, my cruising would have to wait awhile longer.
Presently I am replacing a soft driver floor pan and have a 67 steel crank 383 being put together by John at Heads Up. The car needs interior work, the front seats are 68 buckets but I am going to put it on the road with the Nostalgia Drag theme in mind.

Look forward to hitting the streets.
