One year ago, I purchased a 1970 Plymouth Duster from Greely Colorado. I bought it as a project for my 15 year old son Greg and myself.
I had a 1971 Duster when I was 17 and had a burning desire to have one again. We spent last winter dismantling the car completely to do a ground up restoration
and bring this beauty back to life. We were very fortunate to find this car as it was completely rust free with 58,000 original miles on her.
You always hear stories about cars that were found in a barn and wonder if they are true, well, this was one of those cars.
The car was last plated in 1993 and was sitting in a barn when my buddy and myself picked her up. The car was 100% original except for the steering wheel.
This past spring we had the car media blasted epoxy primed and painted. This winter we will be installing a
340 six pack, 8 3/4 rear end and a sharks tooth grille into her and plan to hit the streets next May, we can't wait.
We joined the mopar club this past spring and look forward to coming out and cruising with the members this coming summer.
