Update - Feb 6, 2012
A word of warning to those who are thinking of selling their car. There was an incident in Consort Alberta in January where a nice 1969 Charger was stolen. According to the allegations, the thief paid with forged certified cheque and picked up the Charger using a stolen truck and trailer.
Ensure you protect yourself. Confirm the identity of your buyer and do not release the car until all payments have cleared. This may take as long as three weeks depending on the financial institution issuing the certified cheque.
If you have any information on the Charger theft please contact your local police department or click for contact information
