The Kops, Kanines and Kars show raised $1350.00. Thanks to Mike Arsenault, Daryl Klassen and Llew Taylor for organizing the show on very short notice. Thanks to everyone who helped out and all those who showed thier support for the WPS K-9 Unit by attending.

Kops, Kanines and Kars Show

$10.00 per car (All procedes to WPS K-9 Unit)
The MMA has organized an all makes car show in support of the Winnipeg Police Services K-9 Unit. The show hopes to raise awareness of the urgent need for a proper kennel area for the WPS K-9 Unit's police dogs. As many of you are aware the needs of the police dogs were overlooked when the new police station on Dugald Rd was built and as a result the dogs do not have an appropriate kennel when at the station.
The proceeds from the show will go towards equipment for the dogs or towards the canine retirement fund. This is a unique opportunity to showcase the charitable side of the collector car hobby to the Winnipeg Police Service and more importantly raise awareness and show our support for the K-9 Unit. I encourage you to attend and to spread the word to all car and dog lovers.
